Klender Station will Be Closed Tomorrow

Station will be closed until tomorrow

Post-fire incident at Klender Station, Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, East Jakarta will be closed temporarily. Hence, the passenger is directed to move to other stations.

PT KAI Public Relations Head, Agus Komarudin said Klender Station is stopped until Saturday (5/20). Considering fire had destroyed the station office and ticket counter this morning.

"Station will be closed until tomorrow. We'll set up a temporary ticket counter soon," he stated, when he surveyed Klender Station, Friday (5/19).

The train service is diverted to the nearest stations, especially to pick up and drop off the passengers. Those nearest stations are Buaran Station and Jatinegara Station. Sooner or later, the ticket counter will be prepared.

His side has not been able to estimate the material losses. However, there were 14 train travels stopped when fire was occurred and during extinguishing process.

Six train travels are from outside Jakarta Kota, Gambir and Pasar Senen. As for the seven other travels, will operate out of the city.

"Especially for passengers who want to by ticket at Klender Station, can be returned or refund at the nearest station," he closed.
